Product choice is discussed during consultation and varies depending on clients’ desired look and augmentation goals. Results last on average 6-9 months although individual results will vary. At the Nurse of Aesthetics, we use a range of injection techniques and products to offer our patients a bespoke outcome.
Lip filler is when you have Hyaluronic acid based dermal filler injected into your lips using a variety of injection techniques to either; enhance, contour, hydrate and restore volume into your lips.
Lip filler is non-permeant and breaks down slowly over time. It typically lasts 12 months on average.
Your appointment will take roughly 30 minutes, this includes your consultation and numbing time, and the injection process is relatively quick.
There are a number of measures we take to ensure clients are comfortable during their treatment. Topical numbing cream is applied prior to treatment and the dermal fillers we use contain lidocaine, which is a local anaesthetic. We also use ice to ensure optimal comfort for clients. Most of our clients say it’s bearable.
We can offer you advice during your consultation. Most commonly we recommend starting small and building up as it is always easier to add than take away.
Results are see straight away but full results are seen two weeks following treatment.
